Kreg mini jig v2.0

Kreg mini jig v2.0

thingiverse

I designed a 3D Printer version of my laser cut Kreg Mini Jig, replacing one that I had shattered and couldn't repair without access to my school or work laser cutter. Using a Wanhao i3 clone, I printed the new jig with eSun ABS+ at 0.3mm resolution, taking approximately three hours to complete. The slot for the Kreg Mini proved slightly too small initially due to my first layer being squished onto the bed and the natural shrinking of ABS+, but after filing it down, it fit perfectly. A drill bit was also used to enlarge the 6mm hole. I've uploaded a new version, v2.1, which omits unnecessary material beside the jig, aiming to reduce print time from three hours to two.
