This compact size makes it suitable for small projects and classroom use. The initial unit came with a wooden insert to adapt the hose fitting to smaller 1.25" types, but it was somewhat cumbersome. As a result, I developed a more secure replacement fitting. To print without supports on this vacuum former, simply flip the adapter so that the wider end is at the bottom; you can achieve this at low infill without needing a solid structure.
