Krazy Ikes
prusaprinters
You will find PLA will not work, it is to rigid, not ductile. I used PETG, but ABS or PC will work. I printed the legs using brim 5mm. They are tall and the print nozzle tends to knock them over. I have included a small booklet showing some toys. If you find other pamphlets showing details, you may wish to share. If you build other parts, you may share them as well. I have included some photos and stl as well as f3d files. The joints are ball & socket. Rigid plastics will not take the stress of the friction joint and will break. Some of the joints are tapered as listed on the file name…like 6.6 to 6.4mm taper so the ball joint slides in and stops when the joint is tight. Hips and shoulder print with TPU, print horz using supports. I printed 25 legs on a sheet at one time. I have the stl and f3d files for everything you see in the photos, but this site will not allow me to upload. If you wish the files you can email me.
