Krasnogorsk K-3 iPhone 8/SE Video Tap

This is a cover designed for an iPhone 8/SE to be attached to the viewfinder of a Krasnogorsk 3 (aka K-3). Alignment is near perfect, and the image is stable. The photos of my rig show the iPhone attached to the K-3 viewfinder, connected to the monitor/EVF with a Lightning to HDMI adapter. You can use the Filmic Pro app to send a clean video feed via HDMI. Filmic Pro also allows more control over focus and exposure. I personally prefer to mount the iPhone vertically and punch in 2X on the monitor. This allows for a cleaner rig, but this obviously compromises on image quality (which isn't great to begin with). But there's nothing stopping you from mounting the iPhone horizontally. The design consists of 2 parts: the cover itself, and a padding ring that is sandwiched between the viewfinder and the cover. The cover is attached to the viewfinder using 3X M3x6mm self-tapping screws, which can be found here: https://ebay.us/mw6cTS The padding is to protect the viewfinder from any damage. Both parts have been aligned to the best orientation for printing. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions.
