FLEXIBLE FILAMENT PRINT! This part adds a crucial amount of resistance to the cocking lever when it's fully drawn rearward, preventing it from sliding forward on its own when the muzzle is pointed downwards, such as at the ground for safety. This design feature makes magazine changes and single-shot mag use significantly easier and safer. Notably, this addition produces no noticeable increase in cocking force, making it virtually imperceptible in normal usage. It also serves as a "stiffnut," preventing the pivot bolt from coming loose through regular use. FITTING: Remove the cheek pad, unscrew the cocking lever pivot bolt, and place the part into the orifice below the cocking lever housing, aligning it with the bolt holes (a screwdriver may be required to fully seat the part due to its snug fit). Then, reattach the cocking lever, re-fit, and tighten the cocking lever pivot bolt. Part Printing: The part shown and fitted to my rifle was printed on its side, with the hole running horizontally, to achieve a smooth slope rather than a stepped surface. The print settings were 0.1mm layer height, 15-20mm/s (very slow), low flexibility/firm TPU, and no supports were needed.
