Kraken holder for K8200
thingiverse
Remake of belgiand3d's kraken holder is complete. Initial version was a bit too flexible, so I added more details to make it sturdier. Now you can remove the Kraken from its support without taking off the water or bowden tubes. Anyone who has tried pulling them off knows why it's a pain. A few extra holes have been added for mounting peripherals or zip-tying harnesses. kraken_holder.stl is all you need to print the holder. For visualization, use kraken_holder_complete.scad, which comes with Kraken.STL and frame_profile.scad (included). These files are from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:236596/#files. Print Settings: Printer: Welleman K8200 w/ 0.4mm e3d Kraken Rafts: No rafts were needed. Supports: Supports were not required. Resolution: The resolution was set to 0.2mm for optimal print quality. Infill: Infill percentage was set to 35% for a good balance between weight and print speed. Notes: This model was printed with 3DPrima PrimaSelect Neon Orange PLA (1.75mm) at 200C.
