In my final year of CAD studies, I crafted a replica of Final Fantasy 11's weapon using wood, a CNC laser, and a 3D printer. I bonded poplar 1x6 boards for the main body, shaped and sanded the upper section by hand, and inserted a threaded rod from pommel to body for strength. The grip, made of lead-wrapped leather, helps balance the 6lb club.
