The full selection of bricks is available at the link.\r\n\r\n\r\nOn September 20, 2019, Cults3D was contacted by the LEGO group with multiple takedown requests. This move was swiftly followed by a large number of models being removed from other sites such as Thingiverse and MyMiniFactory. By taking this action, the LEGO group has clearly demonstrated that they do not want the maker community to produce derivatives of their bricks.\r\n\r\nKragleblocks are designed to serve as a replacement for LEGO bricks in the maker community. They are easily printed, and with some minor tweaking, have the same consistent clutch power as the injection molded bricks that is so hard to replicate with 3D printing.\r\n\r\nNote that Kragleblocks are significantly smaller than standard LEGO bricks, measuring just 5mm per block. I've included photos showing this in detail.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nLICENSE - Read this (Yes, actually read this)\r\n\r\nKragelblocks are licensed under CC-BY-NC-SA. This means that you may not sell Kragelblocks or any derivative thereof. If you want permission to sell these, you can send me a message and we'll try to work something out. Also, whenever this design is showcased on a webpage, I (Ender3Guy) must be named as the designer. Finally, any derivatives of this work must be shared under the same license.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nAVAILABLE BLOCKS\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThis list includes all the blocks that are available. Check back regularly as I am always adding more.\r\n\r\nBricks:\r\n\r\n2x2,3,4\r\n\r\n1x1,2,3,4\r\n\r\n2x2,3,4 angled cutoff\r\n\r\nPlates:\r\n\r\n2x2,3,4\r\n\r\n1x1,2,3,4\r\n\r\n2x2,3,4 angled cutoff\r\n\r\nI'll be adding slopes soon, so check back regularly!\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nPRINTING INSTRUCTIONS\r\n\r\nI recommend starting with printing 3-4 Kragelblocks. This will set you back about five cents and allow you to determine the appropriate clutch power. In case it is too loose, try increasing your extrusion multiplier. If it is too tight, try reducing your multiplier.\r\n\r\nIf you can't get the top and bottom of the bricks to grip evenly, you may have to open the included .step file. Try using a press pull to slightly increase or decrease the diameter of the studs before saving.\r\n\r\nNote that Kragelblocks will be easier than standard LEGO bricks to print due to the inclusion of special tabs which stand out from the inside of the brick and grab onto the stud precisely in the right places.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nREMIXING\r\n\r\nIncluded with the design are .step files of every brick. The .step file also includes a drag-and-drop system by which you can make 2-stud wide bricks of any length. To make 1-stud bricks, just place as many 1x1s as you need and then join them by extruding them.\r\n\r\nI've added .dxf files for 1x1, 2x2 and 2x3 bricks. Note that these .dxf files have not been adjusted for tolerances at the side of bricks, so I suggest using either an Extrude or a Press/Pull to add tolerances of 0.1mm around the exterior sides of the brick once you have extruded it from the sketch.\r\n\r\nAnd lastly, Kragleblocks are designed with easy modification in mind. The standard unit is 5mm with your average stud being half that. If you have the time to look around in the .step files you'll notice that everything has easy-to-use dimensions.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n[whew] That was a lengthy write-up. I think I'm done, but if I've missed anything or misspelled words please let me know in the comments.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nEnjoy your Kragleblocks!
