KRAGA Maripi - test parts

This is a horizontal stabiliser and fuselage piece from the 3D printed RC plane KRAGA Maripi. If you're able to print this part, you should be able to print the entire plane. KRAGA Maripi is a 1.1m big acrobat that's printed on a 3D printer and reinforced with carbon spars. For more information, visit https://www.3dprintedrcplanes.com/maripi Watch a video of the assembled plane at: The file is available for download here: https://3dprintedrcplanes.com/download_test/maripi/ Printing Details: * Rafts: Yes * The red piece must be printed as a shell - 0% infill and no horizontal surfaces. The thickness of the shell should be one layer. * Only this way can you achieve the required weight of the plane. The grey piece must be printed as solid - 100% infill. Printing Settings: * Nozzle: 0.4 mm * Layer Thickness: 0.19 mm * Rafts: Yes * Use the default orientation and whatever printing material. Result Verification: * The red part should weigh 8 g. * The wall of the shell should be printed by one pass of the printing head, making it very thin. * You should be able to fit carbon tubes with diameters of 3 mm and 2 mm into spar leading holes. The grey part should weigh 16 g and you should be able to fit a carbon tube with a diameter of 2 mm into all four spar leading holes. There may be small printing imperfections making it difficult to insert the carbon spar all the way through the part, but I've described a method for clearing the holes using a spoke from a bicycle wheel in the written build guide. I strongly recommend covering both parts with a covering film to test if the material of your choice will not deform from ironing heat and if the covering film will stick to it. I tested many materials with multiple covering film brands without issues, but it can theoretically happen.
