Kraeger Wintleswaithe, Intrepid Anthropologist

Kraeger the finder, they called him. Temples, ruins, ancient townsites, underwater arcane gates. He had been just about everywhere and seen just about every thing. 8 weeks in this Gods forsaken jungle. Digging in the mud was never a good time, the water table spilled in after each shove load. According to his sources... this was the exact location of a ziggurat used for many rituals, and would be loaded with information about the ancient locals, and perhaps some artifacts that could fund the next expedition. CLANK, steel on stone. Kraeger dropped to his knees, his khakis long stained with mud, and pressed his fingers through the thick muck. His hand easily wrapped around the stone, the ziggurat was still beyond his reach then. Once cleared of mud, Kraeger examined the stone. His companion peered over his shoulder. Obvious tool marks showed the stone had been worked... it was in the crude shape of a dog. Kraeger set the dog stone on a nearby moss pad, and began to dig with renewed vigour. Half-orc Anthropologist/explorerer/ guy with a pith helmet. 28mm scale
