*Updated 9/21/2022 - Added Zip-tie mount to the front for the Sherpa Mini (doubles to hold wiring as well) *Updated 8/16/22* - Added zip-tie mounts to claw duct, front & back carrier - Extended the length of travel for the fan mount - Shaved a bit more weight from the overall design Remix of (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5404993) I remixed this to use the stock v6 cooling and lighten the design, yet extremely rigid. I have also added mounting for the Superfly Extruder (you can mount the Superfly in 2 diffrent positions, angled or horizontal). You can use the stock nema 17 extruder motor with the Superfly extruder. All you need is a $15 BMG Clone, and a few M3 screws/nuts/washers Superfly Extuder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4914090) MRF Sailfin Extruder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5149028) Claw fan duct (thanks to cjlaw1611 - https://cults3d.com/de/benutzer/cjlaw1611 for the design) It is designed for a V6 hotend (clone) but might work for others as the fan holder is height adjustable. ***Screw list:*** (This list is exact fit) 13 - M3*8 4 - M3 nuts 2 - M3* 30/40 that come with BMG extruder (or clone BMG) 2 - M3/nuts (from stock radial fan) BLTouch - use the M3 screws and nuts that came with it (M3*8) Superfly Extruder (6 M3 Washers) Print head back to X-axis: 4 M3x8 Print head front to back: 2 * M3x30 and 2 M3 nuts Fan holder to print head front: 2 * M3x8, 2 M3 nuts MRF DualDrive Extruder Sailfin to print head: 2 * M3x8 Superfly Extruder to print head (2 * M3x8, 6 M3 Washers or just use shorter M3's M3*4 or 6) Claw fan duct to fan holder: 2 * M3x8 Endstop trigger to print head back: 1 * M3x8 5015 radial fan to fan holder: 2 * M3x18 or M3x20 (use stock ones from KP3S) BLTouch to print head back: 2 * M3x8 (use what came with the BLTouch) *** Warning *** Using dual gear extruder (Superfly or Sailfin) The motor will extrude in reverse (actually pulling filament out) So using these dual gear extruders you will need to reverse the direction of the of the stepper motor. I have included a pic of what wires to swap (this is an easy method if you are using stock KP3S firmware) or if you just dont want to compile marlin or klipper. I have included a pic so you can see what wires need to be swapped at the connector of the extruder stepper. If you do not want to swap the wires, you will need to compile marlin and set the following line in configuration.h: <p> #define INVERT_E0_DIR true to #define INVERT_E0_DIR false in the configuration.h </p> If using Klipper you will need to remove the ! on the extruder pin when compiling Klipper Firmware ***BLTouch offset (nozzle to BLTouch tip):*** X: +25,6 mm Y: +10 mm ***Superfly & Sailfin E-Steps*** Start with 844 (my exact esteps were 844.8) easy calculator (https://www.th3dstudio.com/estep-calculator/) ***Print Settings*** Supports: Yes - only for claw fan Brim - only for claw fan 40% infill (gyroid) for all parts. ***Notes:*** Everything be printed with PLA(+) depending on how you are using the printer and whether it is enclosed or not. ***Post-Printing*** Tolerances for the mounting holes of the extruders are pretty tight for M3, you might need to use a 3/32 or 7/64 drill bit in the holes to loosen them up a bit. This has been done so you can mount directly into the printhead. Same with the claw fan to the bracket.
