KP3S fanduct and holder for 5015 radial fan
thingiverse
As the standard fan duct coming with the titan extruder is not the best I designed a new one guiding the air from two sides (unfortunately not the opposite sides) towards below the nozzle. To get rid of the metal bracket/holder I designed a new one that accepts the 5015 radial fan and the fan duct. You could even use the old fan duct with this holder. Compared to my old already stripped-down metal holder the new one is about the same weight as I did print it with 7 perimeters making the part solid and rigid! The holder was printed with bavaria filaments PLA and the fan duct with M4P ASA. Print the fan duct laying on its front side and the holder laying on its top side and use supports for at least the latter. To fasten the 5015 radial fan just melt some M3 threaded inserts into the respective holes. You might say the fan duct is displaced in relation to the nozzle. That is true because the air does not come perpendicularly out of the vents as most people think it would. Therefor the duct is too short and hence the offset. Just give it a try - happy printing!
