KP000 Pillow Block Bearing for 10mm Shaft
thingiverse
I stumbled upon the FK KP000 while designing a 3D printer mechanism, so I created a CAD file for it right away. Downloadable STL files are available here, along with AD_PRT (Geomagic Design) and STEP files, to view the part in 3D detail. The pillowblock itself contains a bearing, but what drew my attention is its two set screws that hold the shaft firmly in place. Plus, this piece is both inexpensive and extremely easy to use - a huge time-saver, as it eliminates the need for multiple pillow blocks and separate shaft collars. It's essentially a quick and efficient solution. Primarily designed as a mechanical placeholder for designing machines, this component's features include accurate mount positions, hole sizes, hole locations, offsets, relative positions, and bore details - just like what you'd expect in real-world mechanical designs. Although my model is somewhat faithful to the original, there are some minor inaccuracies that won't impact the mechanical aspects. Keep in mind that cheaper alternatives to these exact parts can be found on popular online marketplaces like Aliexpress (Alibaba), eBay, and Amazon. By the way, I initially mislabeled this part as PK000, but I've since corrected my mistake.
