Human: The kouroi are free-standing ancient Greek sculptures that first emerged in the Archaic period of Greece, representing nude male youths. In Ancient Greek culture, "kouros" translates to "youth, boy, especially of noble rank." This object is part of the Scan The World initiative, a non-profit project launched by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access. Scan The World is an open-source community effort, where contributors can submit interesting items by emailing stw@myminifactory.com to learn how they can participate. Scanned using photogrammetry, processed with Agisoft PhotoScan software.
