Kotoha Necklace

Kotoha Necklace

thingiverse

My daughter is excited to dress up as Kotoha for Gencon in Indianapolis this year. She recently came by and was talking about the necklace that Kotoha wore, expressing her desire to get one herself. Given my recent acquisition of two 3D printers, I decided it was an ideal opportunity to utilize them. To demonstrate the versatility of these machines, I attempted to print the necklace parts in two colors but encountered some challenges aligning the prints correctly. As a result, I opted for printing all the components separately and then assembled them using a small hammer to insert the middles into the disks. The outer ring of the middle disk simply required a gentle push. I also took on the task of creating a hair pin that Kotoha wears, but unfortunately, it wasn't perfect. However, I have some time to work on improving it before Gencon, which will give me a chance to refine my skills and create an even better design.
