This new version has been a game-changer, boasting unparalleled stability and performance. Design Goals: 1. Expand Print Volume Height to Unprecedented Heights of 330mm By relocating the tensioner from the top rail to the carriage itself, we've successfully increased print volume height by a staggering margin. Additionally, by elevating the arms and allowing them to touch the printer's ceiling, we've achieved unprecedented levels of print quality. 2. Amplify Print Precision with Enhanced Stability and Belt Guidance Our redesigned lower carriage boasts increased stability thanks to the removal of the original cutout design. This, combined with exact belt guidance in the upper part – where the belt is attached parallel to the move direction – ensures precise and accurate prints. Tight-fitting screws further enhance the carriage's overall performance. 3. Minimize Parts Required for a Streamlined Design Our innovative carriage design necessitates a reduced number of parts, as all screws are held directly by PLA without the need for nuts. Required Screws: * 2 x M3x18 for the arms * 3 x M3x14 for connecting the lower and upper carriage * 3 x M3x25 for the wheels * 1 x M3x15 for the endstop adjustment * 1 x M3x40 for the belt tensioner When installing screws, ensure they are screwed directly into the plastic. This will create a thread without destroying the plastic. Avoid using excessive force to tighten screws, as this may damage the plastic thread.
