This mount securely holds the Geckotek Rostock Max EZ-Stik Build Plate on a Micromake Kossel XL (2020) delta printer.\r\n\r\nThe Geckotek build plate measures 310mm in diameter, and the mount is specifically designed for use with a 300mm silicone heater attached to it, which is 2mm thick. To ensure each screw hole clears, you must carefully cut away a small portion of the silicone heater.\r\n\r\nThe mounts attach securely to each base 2020 beam using M3x8mm screws with T mount nuts, and the Geckotek plate attaches easily using the supplied countersunk M2.5 screws (or shorter ones if available - you don't need the full length of the screws provided with the Geckotek).\r\n\r\nThe tolerances are relatively tight - if your base is not an exact match to mine, then you may need to adjust the screw holes accordingly.\r\n\r\nThe original design was created in Tinkercad and can be easily customized to suit your preferences:\r\nhttps://www.tinkercad.com/things/l4rVMfLLwEW\r\n\r\nThe Geckotek magnetic base build plate is available for purchase here - please consider supporting them, as this is an excellent build surface:\r\nhttps://www.geckotek.co/product/geckotek-magnetic-base-build-plate-for-rostock-max/\r\n\r\nI highly recommend using a powerful directly-attached silicone heater if you plan to use this build plate - at least 300W. My current heater is only outputting 225W and takes 15 minutes to reach 100C. Upgrades are currently in development.
