This air duct directs airflow from 2 fans sized 25x25 towards the printing part while utilizing one fan 30x30 to cool the heatsink effectively. Design goals: Ensuring compatibility with E3D as well as some clones that have identical dimensions. Making direct-probe effectors such as Buffalo effector http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1093345 and Snow effector http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:868258 compatible Optimizing the footprint to minimize space - keeping all fans within the effector's dimensions. Reducing weight - featuring thin walls, no infill at all, with a total weight of 8g when printed in PLA material. Repurposing the standard 30x30 fan from E3D for reuse. Bill of Materials: 2 pieces of 25x25, 12V, and 1.6W fans measuring 130mA each. 9 M2.5x14 screws (used for the 25x25 fans) along with an additional one for securing it on the extruder. 4 M3x14 screws (for the 30x30 fan). 1 nut and washer made of M2.5 material or its equivalent. Attaching the fan duct to the effector using a single screw requires drilling a hole or creating a new part with a pre-made opening for mounting it securely. Two STL models are available, one featuring supports and another without them. I have successfully printed the unsupported model with light overhangs included. UPDATE: E3D Volcano shroud has been added to this collection. UPDATE: One unique shroud design specifically made for Volcano has also been electroplated with copper for enhanced thermal stability
