Kossel Raspberry Pi mount
cults3d
This is a custom Raspberry Pi mount designed specifically for the Anycubic Kossel Linear Plus. It should fit any printer with 2020 extrusions featuring a 6mm slot, providing easy access to the USB and Ethernet ports. The Pi sits recessed just 1mm from being flush with the outside of the extrusion. The mount has a protrusion that fits into the extrusion's slot for precise alignment and a single 5mm (or smaller) screw with washers for attachment. Two versions are available: one features 1.8mm holes for M2 screws, which will cut their own thread if started slowly with pressure, working best with PETG; the other version has 2.3mm holes for M2.5 screws. The Raspberry Pi's mounting holes are too small for M3 screws, and I initially designed this mount without M2.5 screws, so it came with M2 versions by default - a common limitation in the US where metric screws often require mail-order purchases. This custom mount was created to support my conversion of the Linear Plus to run Klipper firmware. For those interested in an SKR v1.3 mount, I recommend checking out thing 4015280, which features simple configuration for TMC2130 drivers and pairs well with this Raspberry Pi mount.
