Kossel Pro/mini Delta E3D V6 End Effector Version 5

Also Fits Kossel Mini This attempt aims to create an end effector that serves as a direct replacement for the stock end effector of the Kossel Pro and E3D V6 Hotend. It maintains the same arm spacing and radius as the original design. My previous attempts resulted in the heater block cooling too quickly, so I've made adjustments to prevent this issue from occurring again. Reducing interference between fans and arms was another goal, which led me to place the fans in the center of the design and reduce the part cooling fans from three to two. A new duct system directs airflow closer to the nozzle, potentially improving PLA prints significantly. The end effector mounts to the bottom with three #4 screws. Minor improvements include a cable tie mount for clean cable routing and a single-bolt hot-end clamp that reduces bulk and the number of parts needed. Single-layer tabs enhance bed adhesion for small surface area sections. see the older version 3: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1765913 Parts List: E3D V6 Hotend Three 30x30x10mm fans, either 24V or 12V depending on your printer's specifications Six #4 rolling screws with a 5/8" thread for plastic (available on Amazon) Three #4 rolling screws with a 3/8" thread for plastic (available on Amazon) Three 5x37mm internally threaded tubes (come stock with the Kossel Pro) One M3x4mmx5mm Female Threaded Brass Knurled Insert Embedded Nut (available on Amazon) One M3 bolt, either 10 or 12mm long (you likely have one lying around) UPDATE New files have been uploaded. The fan duct screws prevented the hotend from fitting all the way in initially. I moved these screws to the outside and expanded the fan duct to wrap 230 degrees around instead of just two opposing sides. Additional material was added for the part cooling fans' screws, and a parts list has been included. UPDATE 12/7/16 I have fine-tuned this design. The fan duct now expands outward for increased airflow. The inside wall is farther away from the heater block, featuring thicker walls supported by ribs to minimize deformation with heat. The ribs direct airflow towards the nozzle. Shorter #4 screws are used for a cleaner appearance. A cable tie mount was added in the back for clean cable management. The tolerance for the hot-end clamp was reduced from 0.4mm to 0.2mm, ensuring a tighter fit.
