Heat enclosure for the Kossel Mini, made from cheap oven bags and chopsticks. Post-Printing Making the Heat Bag Rather than creating a large plastic box to encase my Kossel, I hit on the idea of using oven roasting bags. Oven bags are typically rated up to temperatures of 200C and even the large ones are pretty cheap. Joining them together to make a large bag to cover your printer is pretty simple. First cut them open into flat sheets. Then melt them together into a single large bag. To join them, lay two sheets flat on top of one another, then using your soldering iron (preferably with a flat cutting tip), run it along the edge. Too slow and it won't melt, too fast and it'll melt away too much and make a hole. Just practise and you'll find a speed that works. In the images, I made a flat rectangular bag, but I plan on buying more oven bags and making a perfectly fitting triangular prism. Category: 3D Printer Accessories
