Kossel Mini z-probe deployment
thingiverse
With this custom solution, you can easily deploy your Z-probe on a Mini Kossel without risking a collision with the belt. You will need to modify Marlin_main.cpp specifically at lines 830-841. Make these changes to ensure that your printer avoids crashing into any part attached to it. As the new deployment component mounts directly onto the z-tower, you must take careful measurements to determine exactly how far down your z pulley goes. One of my own installation examples can be seen in one of the photos I have posted; the attachment was mounted 118mm above the base of the printed z tower. To find the precise position for deployment, simply manually move your z-probe into its new placement and enter M114 on Pronterface.
