This device is designed to enhance this spool holder: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:380636. In reality, the spool_fixer secures the holder onto the HDD motor (used solely for spinning). Ultimately, a screw locks the filament spool in place to prevent it from falling off - as I frequently move my Kossel Mini, this was an ongoing issue. Some images have been added to demonstrate its usage.
