A compact SmartLCD controller case with SD card slot and emergency halt button is presented for Kossel Mini with 15mm extrusions. The rotary encoder knob isn't included, but a third-party design can be used. After printing the case and button separately using Slic3r software at 0.2mm layer thickness with a 0.5mm J-Head nozzle, clean out the SD card slot support structure with wire cutter, knife, and file. Use a 2mm drill to clear the mounting holes on the button. Assemble the button inside the case using two small screws, ensuring it moves freely. Mount the case in front of the Kossel Mini with four M3x8mm screws, washers, and nuts. Insert the SmartLCD controller board into the case and secure it with four M3x6mm screws. Connect data cables to the board and attach the knob on the rotary encoder for a complete setup. Using a different color for button and knob can enhance aesthetics.
