Kossel Mini SmartLCD-Case cut up for small printbeds
thingiverse
I was able to get my first self-built 3D printer up and running, a Kossel mini, but I needed an LCD casing to finish it off - this design by schlotzz did the trick: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:320117. Unfortunately, every other LCD casing I found wasn't suitable for the Kossel because they were all too big to fit within its round build area. Being completely new to 3D printing, it took me some time to figure out how to make these oversized designs smaller so that they could be printed directly on my printer - luckily, I stumbled upon nothinglabs' puzzlecut library: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:35834. Knowing there are probably others who were in the same position as I was when trying to make this happen led me to create and share this guide as my first contribution to thingiverse. Fingers crossed that someone out there will find it helpful!
