This allows you to construct a sturdy base to house your power supply and RAMPS board inside. It keeps all your wiring tidy, eliminating unsightly cables cluttering your workspace. Additionally, it moves the heatbed away from your delicate electronics.\n\nInstructions\nMount your printer on top of a sheet of 12mm plywood and outline its dimensions. Cut out this triangular piece using a jigsaw to create a custom fit. To give my project a sleek finish, I applied a coat of black paint to my plywood base.\nNext, print three corner vertices to serve as anchors. Attach each vertex to the corresponding corner of the plywood, and drill a 6mm hole into the plywood, using the pre-drilled hole in the vertex for guidance. To ensure proper fitment, create a recessed hole on the underside of the plywood where the bolt head will reside.\nNow use a 6mm tap to thread the holes in your aluminum extrusions. With your aluminum towers ready, insert a 70mm bolt through the plywood and the vertex, securing it tightly into place within the tower extrusion. You can now pack your power supply and electronics snugly into this custom-built pedestal.
