Kossel mini - magnet rod upgrade

thingiverse

This is my own design of effector and carriages for my Kossel mini magnetic rods upgrade. I moved the hotend up and gained some extra Z height. This effector is also custom made for Allen key Z-probe. Version 3 UPDATE (9.8.2016): Made a smaller version for E3D heatsink (Height 42.7mm), updated v2 with upper Alu tube guide, fixed Z-probe (always had trouble with too short distance for spring to activate), made some tweaks for easier printing. Parts I purchased: Haydn's carbon fiber arms (http://www.blueeaglelabs.com/collections/all-products/products/haydns-carbon-fiber-arms-with-cnc-precision-machined-delrin-sockets) 30x30 computer fan Hotend E3D copy CAUTION: This is a very heavy version of hotend plate. If your printer is not very well built, you might have troubles. I have linear bearings and magnetic rods. I can run it normally at 150 mm/s and around 6000 mm/s^2. Print Settings Printer Kossel mini Rafts Doesn't Matter Supports No Resolution 0.1 Infill 40% Notes With proper cooling this part can be easily printed without support. Make sure to use enough brim so it sticks well to the surface. I printed with ABS, PLA should also be okay.
