Kossel Mini heated bed holder
thingiverse
I used Boo's Adjustable Heated Bed Holders for quite some time, but I soon discovered that my aluminum print surface was rotating and causing problems with print quality. To fix this issue quickly, I simply taped the aluminum plate to the holders, but using it in this way was somewhat uncomfortable. Determined to improve the situation, I modified the existing design to hold the heated plate securely in place. Next, I added some electric tape to the area where the holder and heated plate connected, which greatly improved their grip. I made two key enhancements: Firstly, I rounded out some corners to make printing easier; secondly, for fixing, I used regular M4 15mm bolts and knobs from funbart (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:641854). For those interested in an upgraded heated bed holder / leveling system, check out my latest design at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2124667. Print Settings: Printer: Kossel mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: I used 100% infill, but a lower percentage may also work well.
