4-5-16 - New Version Available for E3D Titan Extruder. This Version Can Be Run (If You're Using 1.75mm Filament) from a 20mm "Pancake" Nema 17, Reducing Total Weight to Only 250g. Old Version with Standard 40mm Nema 17 and Lightweight Extruder Was 395g! Updated - There Are Two Carriages Now Available, One with Flying Extruder Loop Fixed to It and Standard Belt Clips, While the Other Features Quick Release Belt Clips and Moves the Loop to Attach on Top Using Upper Two Bolts That Hold Carriage Onto Slides. Only 2mm Difference Makes Standard Bolts Still Suitable. Designed for E3D Titan Extruder, But You're Free to Modify It to Fit Your Own Extruder (Publicly Available on Tinkercad). The Editable Version of Titan Flying Extruder Bracket Can Be Found Here. Aim to Keep Filament Straight Down Centre of Mount to Effector/Hot End. In Photos, Weight Saving Device and Path for Filament Have Been Incorporated. Attach Extruder to Effector/Hoet End with a Bowden Tube, Now 4-6 Times Shorter Than Before, Ensuring Improved Filament Control. Adjust Retraction Settings to Be Less Aggressive (Currently Using 2mm at 150mm/s Instead of 5mm at 100 mm/s). A Little Downwards Tension on the Bowden Tube Helps Prevent Excessive Bouncing or Too Much Tension on Elastics. Only Slight Impact on X and Y Direction Moves as Mount Can Swivel Freely. Print Settings: Supports - None. Notes: Just Print It Strongly Enough for Its Purpose.
