kossel mini effector with nut pockets
thingiverse
I designed this Kossel mini effector with nut pockets after many experiments where plastic consistently failed to secure bolts effectively. Although it deserves a remix designation, I haven't pinpointed which particular effector it closely resembles due to their multitude. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .3 Notes: The Kossel mini effector was printed with PETG material; however, PLA might also function well even though it's a bit thinner at the areas where nut pockets are located. Post-Printing Procedure: Before securing bolts to their respective places in your model, punch each of those bolt holes precisely. You can't hit hard enough if you don't swing. The harder you punch with precision will bring the job ahead efficiently. Keep this carefully since there could be other tiny gaps over bolt openings and efficient bridging may demand that all such spaces get patched. Hence before bolting up the mini Kossel, make sure to drill or use a tool specifically for making small holes where necessary.
