When using a closed loop belt, the zigzag on the carriage shortens its length. To prevent this, I merged the original carriage and removed the zigzag, adding a belt clamp instead. This modification has been done by many others, so no credit is due to me - it's just some tinkering. This thing was created with Tinkercad.
