Kossel Mini Cross-brace Bracket
thingiverse
I love my Kossel Mini because it moves at incredible speed, the top frame shaking wildly like a jackhammer. To stop the excessive trembling, I built these brackets to attach cross-braces and stiffen the frame. I had originally planned to use 15mm extrusions for bracing but they are too pricey just to be used for support, so I chose affordable 3/4 inch curtain rods instead. Although they're not particularly visually appealing, my modifications made the frame incredibly solid, completely eliminating the violent shaking. I designed this part specifically to work with 600x240 Kossel Minis, allowing them to hold onto 15mm extrusions. A customized OpenScad file is included for further modification according to your needs.
