UPDATE August 2015: New design makes setup even simpler, featuring a single hole for attaching to the kossel mini frame and an adjustable mount for the heatbed. Images will be provided soon. I used this to securely attach a 220mm round heatbed to the kossel mini frame. While it's not an ideal design, it gets the job done. The possibilities are endless; I believe you can use this setup with various heatbed sizes. As a work-in-progress project, some improvements may be made in the future. Notably, there should be enough clearance to install RAMPS beneath the heatbed, but that has yet to be tested. Required materials include: - 3 M3 nuts - 3 M3x8 bolts for frame attachment - 3 M3x16 bolts for heatbed connection Please feel free to comment or remix this project as needed. Instructions: - Print the three components using ABS for enhanced thermal performance. - If necessary, re-drill the holes with a 3mm drill bit for precise fitment. - Mount the pieces onto the kossel frame using M3x8mm bolts - only tighten by hand. - Place the heatbed and adjust the mounts accordingly. - Securely tighten the mounts to prevent movement during operation. - Install the heatbed while using insulation materials, such as cork.
