Kossel Fan Duct v4 (works with E3d V6)
thingiverse
A fan duct designed for two blowers, each measuring 50x15, is available. To assemble the support, use two M3 screws with lengths of 10 millimeters. Meanwhile, four M4 screws with lengths of 20 millimeters are required to secure the fans in place. Adding a thin layer of foam, approximately one millimeter thick, serves as an effective dampener for sound reduction. This fan duct is compatible with the flex3drive Effector; however, it can also be used with any standard effector due to its adaptable design. Edit 1: The second version provides more airflow through the duct. The updated "support" now features two holes that allow for the attachment of a DC42 IRprobe. Edit 2: The support V3 is designed to accommodate a 40x40 fan, which can be either a Noctua or Scythe model. Both are known for their quiet operation. Edit 3: Support V4 utilizes three 40x40 fans for enhanced performance. Edit 4: Duct19 has an internal radius of 19 millimeters, placing it very close to the hotend. This design makes duct19 a more powerful option. Edit 5: The fan's power is now significantly more than necessary, so driving it with 0.3 PWM suffices. This results in a quieter printer operation. Enjoy the silence achieved by this setup. Additionally, for bridging, you can operate with less than full capacity on this fan duct, as it proves to be more than capable of handling the task.
