Kossel Enclosure
thingiverse
All the parts required to make an enclosure are provided. This enclosure is designed to work seamlessly with Kossel 1515 mini or XL models. It adds a significant amount of rigidity to the printer, effectively acting as a crossbrace. Notably, this enclosure does not reduce the printable diameter in any way. A small part called benne.STL has been added to enable easy removal of trash from outside the enclosure. To achieve this, Kossel feet with matching height are required (available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2506316). For a Kossel XL 1515 model, the panels on both sides measure 500mm x 750. The panels themselves are made of 5mm plexiglass. The "fixation cote" and "support bed 2" parts comprise the bed holder for a 250 x 5 borosilicate glass bed. To assemble the enclosure, M3 L12 and M5 L20 bolts will be needed. The "joint bloc" or "joint 97" components are two distinct variations of the part in front of the door. If you decide to create an enclosure based on these parts, please share your work with me! I'd love to see different implementations. If you encounter any issues during assembly, don't hesitate to reach out and I'll be happy to modify the parts accordingly. The parts were designed using CATIA V5 software. If desired, I can also include them in the package.
