Kossel Effector with auto Level
thingiverse
Work in progress, I printed a sample and discovered that my printer is not accurate on dimensions, so if anyone would like to participate and test print this I would appreciate your feedback while I calibrate my printer. This project is designed to be used with m3 screws, an e3d V6 effector, 2 thirty-by-thirty millimeter fans, springs from a pen, and one mini pressure switch for z probe. Bottom cooling ducts and top brackets for heatsinks are coming up next. 10/16/2016 Update: New files have been uploaded; the previous effector had one hole misaligned, which has now been fixed. A Top Bracket for heat sinks has also been added. A Test Cube for printer calibration to ensure accurate printing has also been added. 10/25/16 Update: A new effector file has been added, and the center hole diameter has been changed to a larger size to allow heat sink travel freely. Test circles have also been added; print those first and see if your heat sink fits. If it doesn't, adjust your printer settings in the config file accordingly, aiming for a manageable tight fit. You can also test your thirty-by-thirty millimeter fan fitment with the fan mounting holes. A new Effector v2 has been created, where beams should no longer be blocked by the effector when going at tight angles, and lvl switch holes have been made universal for optical switch mount or regular type. 6/28/19 Update: Unfortunately, I never finished this project, but anyone is welcome to complete the design.
