Kossel effector autoleveling with optical switch.
thingiverse
I had purchased this item from AliExpress. It's a very nice strong Nylon Extruded Effector with auto-leveling. Unfortunately, there were no instructions provided on how to enable this auto-leveling feature. The holes in the effector were about the width of an optical end switch. So I designed a small part that allowed me to use an Optical switch and a 2mm Allen key or (as I did) a 2mm solid copper wire bent at a 90-degree angle. To achieve this, I flipped the part upside down so I could use a spring from a ballpoint pen to push the nozzle back into place. The result was both simple and effective. The item can be purchased on this site, but similar options are also available on AliExpress. After Printing Some useful instructions... 1. Drill two small holes in the elevated section to 2.5mm or tap an M3 thread. 2. If using an Allen key or copper wire, drill a hole that's about 2mm wide; however, if you're using an Allen key, it might be more comfortable with a slightly wider opening (2.2mm).
