Kossel Dampening Foot
thingiverse
Based on the contouring developed for my FLSUN dampening feet, these dampening feet have been designed to be low profile, while offering a good amount of support and strength. A relatively quick print, the shape does require supports. Printinng the feet standing on the side is best for strength. Having tested this 1st version, the bulk of the print vibration, which translated into noise is now gone. Now the only noise I hear is from fans and contact with the printing object. In addition, there is less visible noise in prints, when printing at 100 and 150mm/sec speeds, as I've upgraded to an SKR 2 motherboard, after expanding the print area with corner extenders of my own design. Unlike the FLSUN foot, these require two M4 screws to connect them to the Kossel Linear corners, if using the standard frame or any of my custom corner feet designs.
