Kossel Clear Stepper Fan Mount

A DIY mount is built for attaching a 40 mm fan directly to a stepper motor, leaving room for a 10 mm heat sink. This was done in an effort to add some basic cooling system for steppers after enclosing my kossel clear in a case. I purchased a 40mm fan and heat sink from China for $1 each, along with a bit of plastic material. The total cost adds up quickly to just over $2 for the whole setup. Considering it brings at least a little thermal protection, that's hard to beat. The design can be securely attached to steppers as they're being installed on a kossel clear printer. However, power supply removal is required first. For the mount to fit properly, you will need to tap holes large enough for 3 mm bolts to thread through.
