Kossel Clear Standoff

Kossel Clear Standoff

The initial design is compact, allowing it to fit onto your Kossel Clear or any delta-style printer with 15/15 extrusions easily. However, you may need to remove the extrusion or cut off the nubs for a smooth installation. This design also enables easy shipping and packing of your delta printer, as well as providing an option to attach acrylic sheets using neodymium magnets for a build chamber. This is a symmetrical design that works in any orientation, making it versatile and user-friendly. It's the creator's first design, so there might be some issues to consider: 1) Measurements may not be entirely accurate due to using an incomplete SketchUp file for reference, which could affect standoff height or damage prevention; 2) Screw hole drilling will need to match the screw size of the slot nuts; and 3) The locking "bumps" might be too tall or require plastic deformation to fit properly onto the aluminum extrusion. For optimal usage, print a set of four pieces for each side, totaling 12 if you plan on building a trifold carry case or build chamber. There are two versions available – one with a slot for magnetic attachment of acrylic sheets, requiring glued-in magnets and washers above them. Please report any design issues you may encounter for improvements.
