Kossel Clear OctoPrint Wi-Fi-Pi camera case and mount
thingiverse
This non-Kossel Clear specific version can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:333167, while a version for the Raspberry Pi 2, 3 or B+ is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1771908. The frame-mounted Raspberry Pi case is designed for the Blue Eagle Labs Kossel Clear, with permission from Blue Eagle Labs (http://www.blueeaglelabs.com/). A USB Wi-Fi adapter on an extension cable provides better coverage than when plugged directly into the Pi. A mount for the cable can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:241023. A ball joint allows adjustment of the camera angle, with a 4" flex cable from Adafruit (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1646) used for improved flexibility. A rectangular collar can be installed to apply tension to the ball, and a gusset inside the case keeps socket arms parallel. However, the mount keeps the camera too close to the print bed for proper focus, so accessory lenses may be required. The setup allows monitoring of print jobs via OctoPrint, as demonstrated in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVz2VNi9_BQ.
