Kossel - angled wheels carts upgrade 2020
thingiverse
Hi, I'm excited to share a new carriage for the Kossel/kosselmini 3D printer. This version features angled wheels that cleverly compensate for ballbearing offset. Watch this video to see it in action: https://youtu.be/mdwU74FUGwA The new limit switches showcased in the video are available on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2482324. Gearbest sent me this printer, which is a great device with some minor issues - I've reviewed it here: https://youtu.be/dgDRVZ4tcEU. P.S. The wheels' holes in the design are closed by a single layer of 0.2mm material. This allows you to print without supports, and after printing, it's easy to remove this layer with a screw. I printed this carriage in PLA using 2 perimeters and 50% infill for added rigidity.
