I MacGyvered my heated bed to my printer by attaching it to the frame with clamps and securing the glass to the bed using bulldog clips, but it looked tacky and I couldn't wire up the heated bed because its connections were stuck under the printer's frame. These adapters eliminate all those problems, allowing you to easily connect your heated bed and instantly giving your printer a sleek, high-end look - especially when paired with Kossel XL 2020 corner dust covers! After Printing The Essential Parts You Need * 3x Heated Bed Adapter (one with space for wires) * 3x Heated Bed Adapter Cap * Kossel XL * Round Heated Bed with Ears for Delta Rostock / Reprap Ø 265 mm * Glass Plate Ø 260 mm * 6x M3, 8 mm Screws * 6x M3 Nut * 12x M4, 12 mm Countersunk Screws * 6x M4 Nut * 6x M4 (Hammer) T-Nut Building the Adapter 1. Attach a thermistor to the heated bed and secure it with kapton tape. 2. Connect the thermistor and heated bed to your printer's electronics. 3. Place M3 nuts in each adapter, then mount the heated bed to the adapters using M3 bolts. 4. Secure the heated bed with the adapters to the printer frame using M4 bolts and (hammer) T-nuts. 5. Mount the glass plate using adapter caps and M4 nuts. Note: The pile of parts in the last photo was a result of our prototyping process. Material Recommendation If you're only printing with PLA (recommended bed temperature 20-35C), PLA is suitable for the adapters, but for more demanding materials like PETG or ABS, we recommend using them instead.
