I'm building a Maxi Kossel with 2020 extrusion and I've tested the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:566093 on a POW shower roller to see how it would work out for me. The carrier wobbles just a bit, so I tried using a 608 bearing instead, but metal-on-metal is way too loud for my setup. Rather than shelling out 80 euros for proper Delrin rollers, I figured I'd give making my own a shot with some MR83-ZZ bearings. These little guys can be printed in PLA or Flex material - PLA works fine, but since I'm going for absolute silence on this build, I decided to try the Flex version instead. The result is a much smoother ride and zero noise, but even at 100% infill, it has a tendency to bend and throw off my delta printer's accuracy. Print settings: E3D 0.4 nozzle, 0.15 layer height, four perimeters, 100% infill, and a speed of 60mm/s.
