Kossel 2020 Filament Spool Holder

I created this mount to be used in conjunction with my Kossel 2020 Extruder motor mount from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:783695). This mounting offset enables the filament to be pulled at a slightly reduced angle. I attach it with M3 screws and T-nuts. The internal dimensions of this part are precisely 20mm, and you can easily scale it up as needed to compensate for shrinkage in your printer's prints. To prevent filament tangles from cable wrap running through the channels, I incorporated a small relief area inside the design. Originally, this type of mount had protrusions on the inside that helped lock it into place; however, they're not necessary here. This version will work with medium-wide filament spools like Hatchbox but is too narrow for super-wide spools like Octave's 3D printer filament. For wider spools such as those used in Octave 3D printers, I suggest checking out this alternative design from Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:846046. If you work primarily with Taulman 3D's 1lb spool sizes, consider using the following design instead (Thingiverse -http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:980458).
