Korrika
thingiverse
Korrika, which translates to "running" in Spanish, is a biennial protest march held in Euskal Herria (regions in Spain and France) to support its indigenous language, Basque. Organized by the Coordinator for Literacy and Basquization (AEK), Korrika also aims to raise funds for their network of Basque language teaching centers (euskaltegiak). AEK is an organization focused on recovering the Basque language and re-Basquizing Euskal Herria. To achieve this goal, they work in fields such as adult Basquization and literacy, research and editing of educational materials, preparation of specific teachers, cultural activities, programs promoting Basque usage, design and implementation of normalization plans for companies and institutions, and awareness campaigns.
