KOROGU / KOROK (THE LEGEND OF ZELDA - BREATH OF THE WILD / BOTW)

Like thousands of other enthusiasts, I fell deeply in love with the untamed environment of The Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild, its lush vegetation, its awe-inspiring landscapes and its ever-changing invitations to adventure! And then, on the periphery of the main missions, the challenge (long and laborious) of tracking down nearly 900 Korogus, these organic, half-animal, half-vegetative creatures, hung from their branches and scattered across the game's massive map. These adorable shrubs inspired me to craft a model, which I am showcasing here as part of the Cults competition on the theme of the organic. The Korogu and its vegetable disguise are printed separately, in a relatively short time (less than an hour in total) and offer a great opportunity to experiment with wood printing (if someone tries it, do me a favor and share your Make on the page)! As in the game, the Korogu can cling to branches, flowers, but even more (wooden spoons, toothbrushes / diameter 10mm). I designed the model from A to Z on SketchUp and decided to print with Cura under Repetier. So it lacks post-processing, indeed.... But that is also the purpose of my participation;) See you again!
