Korg SQ-1 Eurorack adapter

This is an adapter designed for mounting the Korg SQ-1 sequencer within a Eurorack modular synthesizer case. For the lower section, I created two legs that prevent the SQ-1 from falling backwards inside the case and enhance its stability. These are the only components whose size depends on the rack case used. A 38HP x 7mm strip is included to cover the case's screw holes, as well as two rings to connect it to the sequencer's side bolts and the case. The top section consists of a single 38HP x 37mm piece that not only secures and keeps the SQ-1 from leaning forward but also provides four passive multiples. This piece features numerous beams on its back to reinforce the front plate, preventing it from being too flexible without them. It is connected using two rings again, and secured to the case with five screws. Compared to a simpler metal plate adapter featuring a large rectangular hole in the middle, this project boasts several advantages. The depth of the SQ-1 front panel is identical to standard modules, and everything fits within 38HP, which coincidentally matches the exact length of the sequencer. Power is supplied by harnessing the SQ-1 battery compartment. I removed the batteries' case and replaced it with two diodes connected to the Eurorack 5V rail. This reduces the input voltage to approximately 3.3V, a value remarkably close to using two AA batteries.
