V1.0 had the button pad 3mm too close to the button due to a mis-measurement on my part, causing the button to be pressed with no pressure and to cause flexing of the pcb with pressure. V1.1 has addressed this issue. I am printing it now to verify correct operation but I have identified where I went wrong so this fix should be final. I was unhappy with the tiny surface of the FC6 pedals and wanted to design something with a more substantial place for the foot to press. The first step in that process was to reverse-engineer the existing pedal. This is the first model I ever created with FreeCAD, I usually work in Blender and I must say it was a refreshing and exciting experience. I have included the FreeCAD file so one may customize the model however they like, but I don't know how to make it into a proper cusomizer yet. If you just want to print it, snag the AMF/STL file. This pedal is mostly identical to the original but does not taper towards the top and does not have the decorative band cut into it. The underside could be further modified to save on plastic and to closely match the injection mold supports, but it stays out of the way of all the important stuff in my testing.
