Korg Electribe Shift Key Keyboard Overlay - ES2 / EX2
thingiverse
I was fed up with the overpriced solutions available for the Electribe 2 short key problem, so I created this design for everyone. It can certainly be improved, and I encourage you to remix it and make it even better. I've included a 1mm, 1.6mm, and 2mm version of the overlay, as well as a version with the letters removed from the overlay instead of raised. However, I haven't printed this version myself, so I'm unsure if a smaller nozzle might be required. For the other three versions, you can print them in two colors by setting a filament change layer on your slicer, or print them in light-colored filament and color over the tops of the letters with a sharpie. If you need an overlay but don't have a 3D printer to print it on, consider printing it at school, the library, a local science center, or a friend's house. Alternatively, buy a 3D printer for $150 - there are some great options available today. For the $30-$40 you'd spend on Electribe overlays being sold, you're one-third of the way to buying a printer that comes with enough filament to print 20 overlays. Happy beat-making everyone!
